April Showers Bring… Adoptions!
Starting April 1st | Regular Daily Adoption Hours | HSSW
Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation‘s Kia Pet Adoption Grant, dog adoption fees will be lowered by $100 for the first 10 dogs adopted AND cat/kitten adoption fees will be lowered by $50 for the first 20 cats/kittens adopted!!
*Does not include pets at off-site adoption locations or pets in our Adoption Guaranteed Program.

Pups & Peeps Egg Hunt
April 5th | 12PM-2PM | HSSW Trails
We’ll have hundreds of plastic eggs hidden all over our trails filled with dog goodies. AND, there will be ONE golden egg hidden with an extra special prize (or two) inside! Come on out, enjoy our trails with your pup, and have a few treats along the way! And be sure to bring your own bucket for egg collecting!

Petco Outreach Event
April 5th | 11AM-1PM | Petco
Join us out at the Janesville Petco to learn more about HSSW and meet some of our adoptable animals! Volunteers will be on-site to answer all your questions.

My Apartment Meat Raffle
April 6th | 12PM | My Apartment
Join us for a Sunday Funday Meat Raffle style!! My Apartment opens at 11 and the raffle starts at noon. We will have meat raffle, raffle baskets, silent auctions, and 50/50 raffles. Come join us to raise money for HSSW and support our mission to help pets go home again!

Hedberg Library Outreach Event
April 9th | 9:30AM-11:30AM | Hedberg Library
Join us out at the Hedberg Public Library to learn more about HSSW and meet some of our adoptable animals! Volunteers will be on-site to answer all your questions.

Family Fun Night
April 11th | 5:30PM-7:30PM | Levi Leonard Elementary School
This celebration is free and open to the Evansville community. All are invited to come join in the fun. There’s no need for parents to worry about dinner; the Evansville PTO will be selling food at inexpensive prices. The HSSW Team will be there as well with an adoptable dog to greet!

April 19th | 10AM-12PM | Mounds
Join us out at the Janesville Mounds to learn more about HSSW and meet some of our adoptable animals! Volunteers will be on-site to answer all your questions.

Sustainable Living Fair
April 26th | 10AM-1PM | Hedberg Library
Learn about sustainable and healthy living with hands-on learning and activities for kids and giveaways. Be sure to stop by the HSSW table to say hello and learn more about how pets can be part of healthy living!
