Monetary Giving

Below are a few options for making a monetary donation (aka donating money) to HSSW to support our mission. These include General Donations to support the work we are doing, Honor/Memorial Tribute Donations to honor that special person in your life or a lost loved one, Pet Sponsorships to help support the cost of the care provided to our pets, and our Memorial Patio which allows you to purchase a custom engraved brick to be installed at HSSW. Other Ways to Give

Below are a few ‘other’ ways of giving to support HSSW’s mission. These include Planned Gifts, such as bequests in wills and estate gifts, Smart Giving, such as stocks and cryptocurrency, Event Sponsorships for local businesses who would like to donate to HSSW to help us put on our events and be a part of event promotions, and Supply Donations (aka in-kind donations) to help us stay stocked with all the things we need to care for our pets and operate our shelter. Specific Program Support

Below are a few programs that we have at HSSW that greatly benefit from – and in some cases operate entirely on – donations. These include the Asher & Sam Project, a project created by a young teen to help support senior pet adoption; our Help Me, Heal Me Fund which helps us provide above-and-beyond care for our pets such as ACL repairs, or other specialty procedures; our Spay/Neuter Program that helps our community access low-cost spay/neuter services for their pets; our Foster Program that is made up of a dedicated team of community members that help us care for our most fragile pets; and our Snips & Ear Tips Fund that helps us provide spay and neuter services to Community Cats in our area. Community Programs and Donations

Below are a few community programs that are operated entirely with donations and grant funding and a few options for donating while doing things you already do – like shopping! These include our Better Together Program, a program dedicated to helpings pets go home and stay home; Sophie’s Gift, a program created by the community for the community to help with the financial burden of surprise vet bills; Ongoing Community Fundraisers, such as donating rewards points at different stores or putting in a donation code at your local car wash; and our Online Shop where you can shop our latest designs as well as our classics and get them printed on just about anything – plus it will be shipped right to you!
